Aaron Paul caused chaos with pre-Emmy scavenger hunt

Breaking Bad star Aaron Paul caused mayhem as he prepared for his historic night at the Emmy Awards on Monday (25Aug14) by staging a Twitter scavenger hunt all over Los Angeles for fans of the show.

The actor found keepsakes in a closet and decided to part with them by sharing them among savvy fans - but he had no idea so many people would be interested in his character's license plate, plants, props and scripts from the show.

He explains, "The first clue was: 'Go find R.J. Mitte, aka Walt, Jr., at the IHop (restaurant) in West Hollywood. He'll be eating breakfast and he'll have some signed scripts for you'.

"Literally within 60 seconds, the IHop is just bombarded with just crazy fans and causes so much traffic."

Fans were so keen to get their hands on Paul's random stuff from the show, some were caught cheating.

He explains, "These ladies were camped outside my house and I pulled out and... they kept following me. I walked directly up to their, I took a picture of them and said, 'Shame on you, shame on you! You cannot cheat! You don't win anything!'"

Paul showed off photos from the scavenger hunt during an appearance on chat show Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Thursday (28Aug14), and one featured himself on a park swing, dressed as his Breaking Bad character Jesse Pinkman.

He explained, "This is me in a West Hollywood park. I said, 'Tag, you're it,' on Twitter. 'The first person to tag me in the West Hollywood park (will win the suit I was wearing)'... and I signed it on the back, 'Ya b**ch, Aaron Paul'."

The actor made it extra difficult because when fans arrived at the park, he started running away from them.
