50 Cent is developing a new TV comedy based on life as a member of his entourage.

The In Da Club star has teamed up with producer Will Packer to executive produce a show titled My Friend 50 for the Fox network.

According to Deadline, the series will centre on 20-something Amanda Kramer, who "believes that joining 50 Cent's entourage is the answer to all her problems".

In addition to producing the show, 50 Cent is slated to have a recurring role as a version of himself.

The hip-hop star already has a successful run on the small screen with his breakout drama series Power, which he also executive produces and co-stars in.
