There is no doubt Driver is having a stellar 2019 that will undoubtedly launch him into the stratosphere. Here is all the greatness that makes up The Year of Adam Driver!</div> <div style="text-align: justify;"> <hr class="system-pagebreak" /> </div> <div style="text-align: justify;"> <span style="font-size:26px;"><em><strong>BlacKkKlansman</strong></em></span></div> <div style="text-align: justify;"> While <em>BlacKkKlansman</em> released in 2018, Driver was able to piggyback off that career-defining performance in the critically-acclaimed <strong>Spike Lee</strong> film with his first Oscar nomination to kick 2019 off strong. This accomplishment solidified that the actor was more than just a TV star or popcorn franchise villain. His role in <em>BlacKkKlansman</em> showcased his true strengths as a performer. He brilliantly portrayed a Jewish cop going undercover in the KKK, and the Academy, as well as the rest of Hollywood, saw what he is truly made of when it comes to the world of acting. His nomination for Best Supporting Actor at the 2019 Oscars was his first, but there is no chance that it will be his last.&nbsp;</div> <div style="text-align: justify;"> <hr class="system-pagebreak" /> </div> <div style="text-align: justify;"> <span style="font-size:26px;"><em><strong>The Dead Don&rsquo;t Die</strong></em></span></div> <div style="text-align: justify;"> <em>The Dead Don&rsquo;t Die</em> is a zombie movie like nothing you have ever seen before. The casting is terrific, with Driver surviving the undead with the likes of <strong>Chloe Sevigny</strong>, <strong>Bill Murray</strong>, <strong>Tom Waits</strong>, <strong>Steve Buscemi</strong>, <strong>Danny Glover</strong>, and <strong>Selena Gomez</strong>. Driver and company must protect the peaceful town of Centerville when the dead start to rise from their graves. <em>The Dead Don&rsquo;t Die</em> looks like it&#39;s a great motion picture whether you&#39;re a fan of the genre or not. This zombie motion picture was also a nominee for the coveted Palme d&rsquo;Or award at Cannes where it premiered. So this Indie horror-comedy has some legitimate credibility, star-studded lineup, and, of course, Adam Driver. There is no reason to sleep on this comedic cannibal corpse caper.&nbsp;</div> <div style="text-align: justify;"> <hr class="system-pagebreak" /> </div> <div style="text-align: justify;"> <em><span style="font-size:26px;"><strong>Burn This</strong></span></em></div> <div style="text-align: justify;"> In between movies, Driver took a break from the big screen to spend a few months on stage, and everyone took notice. From April to July, Adam appeared in the Broadway revival of <strong>Lanford Wilson</strong>&#39;s drama <em>Burn This</em>, opposite <strong>Keri Russell</strong>. Driver will play U.S. Senate staffer Daniel Jones, who had the difficult task of looking into accusations of torture and a cover-up of the matter. To prove that their needs to be accountability for a democracy to work, Jones must overcome all obstacles to make sure the truth about these heinous acts is revealed to the world. <strong>Scott Z. Burns</strong>&#39;s<strong> </strong><em>The Report</em> is an upcoming dramatic thriller lead by Driver that has been generating a lot of buzz since it was screened at the Sundance Film Festival. There it earned strong reviews and drew comparisons to a similar real story-based investigation film called <em>Spotlight</em>, which, if you remember, took home the Oscar for Best Picture.<em>The Report</em> will release in theaters in mid-November with it being available for Amazon Prime subscribers two weeks later.&nbsp;</div> <div style="text-align: justify;"> <hr class="system-pagebreak" /> </div> <div style="text-align: justify;"> <span style="font-size:26px;"><em><strong>Marriage Story</strong></em></span></div> <div style="text-align: justify;"> Driver is also set to star in Academy Award winner <strong>Noah Baumbach</strong>&#39;s family drama <em>Marriage Life</em>. Driver plays one half of a couple whose marriage slowly disintegrates until they decide to divorce. But this Netflix film offers a new twist on this sadly familiar story. There are many sides to every story, and this movie looks to embrace those alternative viewpoints. Along with Driver, this powerful piece of cinema stars <strong>Scarlett Johansson</strong>, <strong>Laura Dern</strong>, <strong>Alan Alda</strong>, and <strong>Ray Liotta</strong>. Netflix is showing <em>Marriage Story</em> off at the festival circuit with the film set to make its world premiere at the Venice Film Festival later this month. It&rsquo;s also going to screen at the Toronto International Film Festival and the New York Film Festival later this year, positioning the motion picture for an Awards Season theatrical release. The son of Han Solo and Princess Leia is back to finish what he started long before <em>The Force Awakens</em>. But before he can complete his master plan, he has a score to settle with Rey, Luke Skywalker&rsquo;s final Padawan. A lot is riding on this film, what with it being the last film in a narrative that has changed the way we look at movies and spanned 4 decades.
