13. “Real Love”
This melancholic song makes me want to get up and dance, but lyrically it’s heartbreaking and ends like a ballad. Jepsen talks about those moments in a relationship where you know it should be over, but you still accept its lies because you want to have love. It’s a moment I know I have experienced all too well, so the rollercoaster of upbeat and downbeat sounds for this track makes sense for me.
