Midsommar

I saw this movie 3 weeks ago and I STILL do not have the words to explain it. Ari Aster, who also directed Hereditary in 2018, directed this film, and all I have to say is: wow. The story follows American college students who travel to Sweden with their Swedish friend to partake in the country’s Midsummer traditions. We soon learn that those traditions are horrifying and shocking. This movie is without a doubt one of the most disturbing films I have ever watched in my life. If there is one movie on this list that you watch, let it be this one.
