Can I assume that we’ve all seen Get Out, Jordan
Peele’s Oscar-winning socio-political horror film that
left everyone in awe? This year we finally got to see his
follow-up, Us, and it did not disappoint. Starring
Lupita Nyong’o and Winston Duke,
the film follows a family who go on vacation in Santa Cruz and come
face to face with their murderous doppelgängers. Peele set the bar
high with Get Out, and while Us might not surpass
it, it’s pretty close. Us is a thrilling yet smart horror
film, and worth a watch for any movie fan!
