We then see a butt-ton of TIE fighters heading to an icy planet, which is very likely Kijimi, the home world of Keri Russell's character Zorii Bliss and also the headquarters of adorable mechanic Babu Frik.
Then we see this shot of a very creepy, ominous-looking throne, likely belonging to the man of the hour himself, Emperor Palpatine (Ian McDiarmid), whose voice we hear next: "Long have I waited. And now, your coming together will be your undoing." (I WONDER whomst he could be referring to???)
As his voiceover continues, we see an imperial destroyer rising from the water like a ghost ship, followed by a shot of the very-much-alive Millennium Falcon leading a charge of a fleet of rebel ships. Eagle-eyed fans have noticed a number of these are recognizable from other Star Wars EU materials, such as Ghost, the ship belonging to Hera Syndulla, a character from the TV series "Star Wars Rebels" (which takes place during the 20-year gap between Revenge of the Sith and A New Hope). It's likely Hera will not actually be a character in the movie, though, and this is just a fun easter egg for the hardcore SW fans.
Here we also get a shot of our Resistance heroes in the cockpit of the Falcon, and then another shot on the watery wreckage where Rey and Kylo appear to be duking it out.
The sequence ends with a big outer space explosion and a fighter in peril piloted by Rey.
