We then switch to a huge, floating piece of wreckage in the middle of a turbulant sea, and upon it we can discern the tell-tale sign of Rey's blue lightsaber. We then see a close-up of her face as she waits for something in anticipation, all while we hear her voice say, "People keep telling me they know me. No one does."
And then who should appear on the opposite end of the wreckage, dripping wet in full Byronic glory?
Yep, it's her Force-soulmate Kylo Ren (Adam Driver), who responds simply, "But I do." (squeeeeeeee!)
(J.J. is really going full Pride & Prejudice on us, huh?) Interesting to note that Kylo flips his lightsaber around so that it's not pointed at Rey. This is NOT a guy looking for a fight. But then he's never gone looking for a fight with Rey... because he doesn't want to fight her...
As for that super intriguing voiceover, (a) it's TRUE and he should SAY IT, and (b) my pet theory is that it takes place while Rey is in Dark-Rey Mode...
