The final few shots begin with Kylo Ren looking like a whole snack while gazing off in the distance at something... or someone... and then walking towards it/them.
This is then followed by a very foreboding shot of Rey standing before what looks to be Palpatine on his creepy throne (and if you watch closely, it appears to be moving towards her?? YIKES!).
We then end on Rey's serene face, staring back at us with "peace and purpose", the Legacy Lightsaber aloft, as we hear Luke say, "The Force will be with you." And Leia adds, "Always." CUE THE TEARS!
So who is she looking at in this shot? Is she merely hearing Luke and Leia's words in her head, as the trailer suggests? Is she looking at a person, come to join her in her fight against the Emperor? Is she spontaneously remembering Kylo with his shirt off?
I NEED TO KNOW NOOOWWWW! But alas, we will all have to wait until December 20 when Star Wars concludes with The Rise of Skywalker. Tickets are on sale now!
