2. “How to Rock” (2012)
“How to Rock” ended before it even started. Like “Victorious”, this show featured a large ensemble cast that was just beginning their climb in the entertainment industry. The music-themed show centered around a once-popular high schooler named Kacey Simon (Cymphonique Miller) who joined a band called Gravity 5 as the headline singer. Tasked with fitting into a new band and creating strong bonds with her new bandmates, Kacey sought to show her previous besties and their band, The Perfs, that her decision was justified.
“How to Rock” had one season and aired from early 2012 to late 2012, with the final episode being Christmas-themed and thus not depicting major character decisions or representing itself as much of a finale.
The show co-starred Halston Sage, Max Schneider, Lulu Antariksa, Samantha Boscarino, Noah Crawford, and Chris O’Neal.
