“Since U Been Gone” singer and "The Voice" judge Kelly Clarkson has officially announced her upcoming 10th studio album, Chemistry. With an as-yet unknown release date (other than sometime this year), Clarkson describes how she wanted the title of her first post-divorce album to be only one word, and ultimately "chemistry" was the winner.
Clarkson posted to Instagram saying, “This album is definitely the arc of an entire relationship.” She describes the album as “amazing, sexy, cool, fun thing, but it can also be very bad for you.” The new music is about her divorce with her ex-husband Brandon Blackstock 3 years ago.
But wait… you want to see her live? Well, now you can! Clarkson will be hosting Chemistry: An Intimate Evening with Kelly Clarkson in Las Vegas to promote the upcoming album at the Bakkt Theater at Planet Hollywood from July 28 to August 19. She said she can only perform for 10 shows, so it’s extremely exclusive. You can click this link to buy tickets for any of the dates!
Her most recent album was released in October of 2021, called When Christmas Comes Around…, featuring duets with Chris Stapleton and Ariana Grande. It peaked at 22 on the US Billboard 200 and Number 1 on the US Top Holiday Albums.
