The Lumineers – “Life In The City”
The Lumineers released the first part of their conceptual album this past week with 3 new singles. What many people don’t realize, though, is that this single was actually performed live 6 years ago at a Lumineers concert. Regardless, this song is The Lumineers at their best (but I pretty much always say that about all of their new releases). There is something about the band where their lyrics and folksy style go hand-in-hand to create sweet songs that people can actually relate to. If you’re looking for an easy listen, give this one a try (especially if you love New York City)!
