Idris Elba
Idris Elba is one of the most prominent new cast members, and initially he was hired to replace Will Smith as Deadshot. This was later changed to Elba taking on a different character in order to allow Smith the chance to return to the franchise sometime down the road if he wishes. While his role still remains a mystery, he has been heavily rumored to be playing Bronze Tiger, but nothing has been confirmed as of yet.
Elba will have plenty of villain experience coming off his run as Black Superman AKA Brixton in Fast & Furious Presents Hobbs and Shaw, where he played a genetically modified super-soldier. And this isn't Elba’s first foray into live-action adaptations of popular literature or comic books. He has been in three Thor films plus Avengers: Infinity War, The Losers, and Stephen King’s The Dark Tower. So, needless to say, when Elba arrives for his Squad duties, he'll be more than prepared to give another excellent performance.
