Rev-9 (Gabriel Luna)
Gabriel Luna enters the historic sci-fi franchise as the Rev-9, the most advanced killing machine among all the other Terminator models. What makes this robotic menace so scary is the fact that he can split in two. Meaning he’s basically the robot skeleton from Terminator and simultaneously the Robert Patrick Liquid T-1000 version from Judgement Day. Yeah, pretty scary stuff. He is a force to be reckoned with whose entire body is essentially a weapon. It is also pointed out that one can do battle with a Rev-9, but destroying one is almost impossible.
Fans should recognize Luna from his many other appearances on shows like "Prison Break", "Matador", and HBO’s "True Detective". Terminator: Dark Fate is the actor's biggest gig to date and could make or break the young man’s career. But Luna is no stranger to taking on characters from big franchises. In addition to being a Terminator, he has also played another menace to society as the Marvel character Ghost Rider on the show "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D", where he almost got his own solo spin-off series. Given the intensity we’ve seen from just the promos, hopefully, if things go well with this film, he may receive an upgrade for a potential sequel or spin-off, becoming a new staple in the Terminator legacy.
