2015: "Hello" by Adele 

It’s safe to say that Adele is one of the most talented musical artists of the decade. Her return to the music scene in 2015 was a huge deal to fans around the world, and Adele did not disappoint. The autumn release of “Hello” was perfect for the soulful, incredibly deep tone of the single. The song itself was heartbreaking, but it perfectly represented all of Adele’s talents. The visuals paired perfectly with the melancholy ballad, as we saw Adele sing her heart out in black and white. “Hello” was just the first single off her album 25, which featured a number of other incredible hits that remained on repeat for the rest of the decade.
