2013: "We Can’t Stop" by Miley Cyrus 

Who could forget the infamous Instagram post that showcased Miley Cyrus cutting off her long blonde locks? Following this rebellion against the “good girl” Disney image that she had always portrayed, Miley released a slew of songs showing the world who the new Miley was. These songs all came off of her chart-topping Bangers album, and the most notable was her lead single off the album, “We Can’t Stop”. The song meant to show the world that Miley didn’t care about what they thought of her. In the music video, Miley is seen partying, twerking, and overall having a good time with her friends. Her carefree attitude and fun-loving spirit was eventually accepted by the masses, and Miley’s incredible music career hasn’t slowed down since.
