The Critics Choice Awards took place last night (March 13) to recognize excellence in film and television -- the last stop for TV's award season and for films before the Oscars. With a particularly electrifying year for visual media (“WandaVision”, “Squid Game”, and “Only Murders in the Building” all came out this past year, can you believe??), this was clearly no light task. Crowd television favorites, such as “Succession” and “Ted Lasso”, had a fruitful night, while the film categories celebrated subversive dramas like King Richard, The Power of the Dog, and The Eyes of Tammy Faye.
To mark the occasion, all of our favorite celebrities graced the red carpet in their finest evening wear, and we’re here to talk about some of last night’s best looks!
1. Lady Gaga
Repping her film, for which she was nominted for Best Actress, Mother Monster wore a stunning gold Gucci gown with black satin detailing and a lace shrugged cover. The flared mermaid skirt is edged with the same black fabric, creating a seamless, standout look that captured everyone’s attention.

Tennis superstar Venus Williams, on hand to support nominee King Richard which details her childhood, wore a beautiful, draping romper-gown of silver gossam fabrics, giving her an intoxicating, elegant presence. Complete with cutouts in strategic places, matching heels, and silver-leaf earrings, this Atelier Versace gown was a stunner.

4. Mandy Moore
Don’t call it a comeback -- "This Is Us" star Mandy Moore wove toga-like elements into her Elie Saab cream and striped gown, bringing a beloved early-2010s trend back in the best way. With intricate jeweled details and a simple, dignified bare neck, Moore was the definition of captivating.
