1. The Secret History
This novel by Donna Tartt is about a group of brilliant college students who murder their friend Bunny (not a spoiler, it happens on page 1) and discover a new way of living beyond the humdrum of normality. I would kill Bunny just to watch Netflix turn this into an original series or movie.
