Kusama directed the criminally under-appreciated cult classic Jennifer’s Body, which is finally getting the attention it deserves on it’s ten-year anniversary. Six years after that film's release, The Invitation is Kusama’s triumphant return to the horror genre. 

Logan Marshall-Green plays Will, who goes into his ex-wife's dinner party with high hopes. But early into the night, Will starts to notice little things that unsettle him. Even though his girlfriend Kira tries to convince him it’s nothing, Will believes that there’s a more sinister reason for this gathering. The Invitation is a slow burn, as you question the truth along with Will, but it is definitely worth it to get to the end!
