Zooey Deschanel is facing a legal battle with her former managers who are fighting for a slice of her fortune.
Executives at Seven Summits Pictures & Management filed a lawsuit at Los Angeles Superior Court on Wednesday (16Dec15) claiming they are owed a portion of Deschanel's earnings from projects including her website, Hellogiggles.com, TV show New Girl and a modelling campaign.
They claim to have represented the actress from 1996 until 2013 and are entitled to 10 per cent of her earnings, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
In the suit, company bosses allege Deschanel paid some of the owed commission from New Girl after parting ways with the firm, but the payments have since stopped.
