A song by former One Direction star Zayn Malik was leaked on the Internet on Monday night (15Jun15), sparking a social media battle between a rapper and Malik's regular collaborator Naughty Boy.
British rapper Mic Righteous leaked audio of his duet with Malik, who quit One Direction earlier this year (15), online and the cover of Rae Sremmurd's hit No Type sparked a row with music producer Naughty Boy, who has been working in the studio with the pop star.
He wrote, "That had nothing to do with me or Zayn, something was stolen from the hard drive that had nothing to do with the rapper involved... Just wait for the real one... you won't be disappointed..."
Righteous replied, "Tell the truth... We recorded them bars in ur (your) studio months ago... " and later wrote on Facebook.com, "Zayn wants the tune out, he ask(ed) me to be on the song, (Naughty Boy) told me that his label wont (sic) let him release any music for the next two yrs (years)... So you know what I did? I did (released) it for him, for you."
The song was removed from the Internet, but Righteous uploaded it again hours later. Naughty Boy has previously released a demo of Malik's solo material called I Won't Mind, which was taken down after the producer got into an argument with Malik's former bandmate Louis Tomlinson.
