Zayn Malik came to the rescue of a fan who was pushed to the ground outside his album release party in New York.
The former One Direction singer, who was with supermodel girlfriend Gigi Hadid, had just arrived at Milk Studios for the party on Friday (25Mar16), when a young fan was pushed to the floor by the large crowd.
A shocked Gigi exclaimed "Oh my God!" as Zayn helped the girl up and made sure she was okay, talking to her calmly before making his way into the party.
One Twitter user claiming to be the girl that Zayn helped wrote on the social media site after the incident, "Zayn Malik just lifted me up off the floor and made sure I was okay. The fans pushed me and he picked me up with Gigi and made sure I was okay!"
The girl admitted she had been slightly injured, but meeting her idol was enough to make her feel better. "Thank you so much," she wrote in a tweet directly to Zayn. "I’m okay, just scared and a bit bruised and sore but I love you so much. Xx."
However, the singer's gentlemanly act wasn't enough to dispel the rumours that he has allegedly admitted to cheating on ex-fiancee Perrie Edwards in a track on his new album.
He was rumoured to have cheated on her with a waitress in 2013, with the pair eventually splitting in 2015 after four years together.
The lyrics of his new song She Don't Love Me on album Mind of Mine include, "I think I know she don’t love me, that’s why I f**k around."
