Rapper Young Thug has been cleared of striking a woman outside a nightclub in Atlanta, Georgia.
Valerie Raven, also known as Akbar V, alleged the musician, real name Jeffery Williams struck her outside the city's Palace nightclub after she had an argument with his fiancee Jerrika Karlae.
According to TMZ.com, the case went to court to decide whether he should be charged with a battery offense but the judge threw it out for lack of evidence.
After the initial incident police officers were called to the scene, but the hip-hop star and Jerrika had already left by the time they arrived to investigate.
Editors at the gossip website report that surveillance video footage of the incident did not show Thug, 25, making physical contact with Raven.
April (17) has been a good month for the Pick Up the Phone rapper, as last week (end09Apr17) he beat a felony drug charge after his lawyers successfully argued police officers searched his home without obtaining a proper warrant.
