Rapper Young Thug has canceled a string of upcoming tour dates so he can concentrate on recording his debut album.
The Danny Glover hitmaker is only four shows into his current Hy!£UN35 Tour, but on Wednesday (23Sep15), he announced that 14 of the 34 dates will be axed so he can go back into the studio to work on new tracks.
A statement from a spokesman at his label, Atlantic Records, reads: "Young Thug will use this time to focus on putting the finishing touches on his highly anticipated debut album, Hy!£UN35. The postponed dates will be rescheduled to 2016 in support of the release of the Hy!£UN35 album."
The affected tour dates include his stop in Detroit, Michigan on Thursday (24Sep15), up until his 1 November (15) gig in Silver Spring, Maryland.
