Director Michelle Maclaren has quit the Wonder Woman movie after allegedly falling out with the project's creative team.
Warner Bros.' bosses confirmed the news on Monday (13Apr15), revealing the two parties have decided not to move forward with "plans to develop and direct Wonder Woman together".
The film, featuring Gal Gadot as the comic book heroine, would have been MacLaren's feature directorial debut.
Her past credits have included episodes of TV dramas Breaking Bad, The Walking Dead and Game of Thrones.
As producers search for a replacement, it is not known if MacLaren's departure will will affect the movie's scheduled release in 2017.
