Rapper will.i.am has finally located his missing car using a tracking device installed by his mechanic.
The star's white, custom-made, futuristic supercar disappeared on Tuesday (14Aug12) from the parking lot at The Avalon Club in Los Angeles, where he held his album launch party, and he pleaded with fans on Twitter in a bid to get it back.
The Black Eyed Peas star spent two days attempting to find out what happened to his beloved car and eventually enlisted the boss of the garage which helped customise the vehicle.
Ryan Friedlinghaus of West Coast Customs (WCC) assured the star he would be able to locate the car using a tracking device they had installed, writing in a post on Twitter.com, "Not to worry Team WCC put a tracking device on the car! It will be found."
He later came back to will.i.am on Thursday (16Aug12) with good news, writing, "I think I have some good news for you... We found it!!!! Thanks to technology... It's safe and on its way back to Official WCC Headquarters!!! Hard work dedication."
Will.i.am was delighted with the news and arranged to pick up the car on Friday (17Aug12).
