Victoria Beckham reportedly doesn’t want Chloe Grace Moretz to encourage her son Brooklyn to get a tattoo.
The oldest of the Beckham children, 17-year-old Brooklyn, is enjoying a public romance with actress Chloe, after previously keeping their relationship status under wraps.
Chloe is a big fan of body art, recently adding another tattoo to her growing collection. Her latest inking is of her grandmother’s name, and while tattoo artist to the stars Jon Boy got to work, Brooklyn was close by keeping Chloe company.
“Victoria got wind that Brooklyn and Chloe had talked about getting matching tattoos of each other’s initials, like Chloe did with (her friend) Kathryn Gallagher. So after she saw that Chloe went to get tattooed again, Vic felt that she needed to make her views clear,” an insider told Britain’s Heat magazine.
“Vic adores Chloe, but she worries the relationship may be moving a little too fast, especially with the matching tattoo talk. She asked Chloe not to encourage Brooklyn to get any, and also asked her not to take him to any tattoo parlours.”
Brooklyn’s dad David is heavily tattooed, with pieces covering his arms, chest and back. Victoria also has some art of her own, though she reportedly finds them embarrassing so has undergone laser surgery to remove them.
David recently showed off his tattooed body on holiday with his family in Greece and while playing in the sea with his children, Victoria was snapped taking a photo of them.
Former soccer star David apparently doesn’t see the problem with Brooklyn getting tattoos, but Victoria has allegedly banned him from doing so until he’s 18.
“Chloe knows how to appease Victoria and she promised to not bring up matching tattoos any more,” the source added.
