A lawyer for Tyga has blasted reports suggesting the rapper has been caught sending explicit text messages to a transgender model, insisting the star has been targeted in an attempt to "maliciously shame" him.
The Rack City hitmaker has been romantically linked to Kim Kardashian's teenage half-sister, Kylie Jenner, since splitting from his fiancee, Blac Chyna, last year (14).
However, he hit headlines this week (beg06Jul15) after a gossip blog published images of multiple text message conversations between Tyga and transgender star Mia Isabella.
The recent messages included selfies of the rapper, in addition to images of his erect penis. His identity in the X-rated snaps is given away by some of his body tattoos, which can be clearly seen in the raunchy photos.
However, Tyga's lawyer, Lee Hutton, claims the hip-hop star has been set up and now he is determined to track down whoever is responsible for the conspiracy, reports TMZ.com.
Hutton believes the culprit used photos Tyga sent them to make up the fake story about an affair with a transgender model and he has slammed the prankster for making light of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) issues.
In a statement, the lawyer writes: "The allegations are false and socially irresponsible during a time when many Americans are celebrating equality."
The mention of equality is in reference to Supreme Court officials' recent legalization of same-sex marriage across all 50 states.
