Tyga has opened up about his recent split from Kylie Jenner, admitting he still loves the reality star.
The 26-year-old rapper had been dating Kylie, 18, on-and-off since 2014, but reports on Thursday (12May16) suggested they parted ways once and for all before the Met Gala earlier this month (May16).
Tyga was at Los Angeles International Airport on Friday night (13May16), and spoke to photographers about why his relationship with the youngest sibling of the Kardashian/Jenner clan ended.
"I think, you know, we're both just focused on our lives, our individual lives right now," he said in the video posted online by TMZ.com. "Sometimes things don't work out, you know, but I love her."
And when asked if he'll always have those emotions for his ex, Tyga replied, "For sure."
The Rack City hit maker, who has a three-year-old son King Cairo with ex Blac Chyna, also opened up about the news that Blac is pregnant with fiance Rob Kardashian's child.
"People grow and it's time to evolve," Tyga said. "Everybody should have the opportunity to have love and to live their life."
However, another photographer managed to offend the rapper when he asked if Rob, who is the elder brother of Kylie, would be a good stepfather to King Cairo.
"Don't go too far," he warned.
Despite Tyga's declaration of love for her, Kylie reportedly "no intention" of reconciling with the rapper, due to rumors that he had cheated on her with several women, according to People.com. A source told the publication that the reality star was fed up with his lies, and has serious trust issues.
"He was lying repeatedly to her face and she just couldn't take it anymore. She couldn't trust a word he said," the insider added.
