Comedian Tracy Morgan has climbed back into the driver's seat more than a year after he was involved in a fatal car crash last June (14).
The former 30 Rock star is still recovering from the horrific accident, when his limousine collided with a truck in New Jersey, killing his friend James 'Jimmy Mack' McNair and leaving Morgan with serious injuries, including head trauma and a broken leg and ribs.
Since then, he has slowly but steadily been recuperating, and on Sunday (12Jul15), he was photographed driving a Lamborghini around New York City.
Steve Lacy, an anchorman from local Fox 5 news station, happened to be across from Morgan while at a stop light, and snapped a photo of the funnyman behind the wheel, as he gave a peace sign to the camera.
Lacy posted the snap on Facebook and added the caption, "Does it get more On Brand than this?! I spotted Tracy Morgan driving a Lamborghini this weekend in Manhattan. I spoke with him briefly. He said he was feeling well and when I said I loved the car he said 'thanks' and that he was being careful behind the wheel. As a huge Tracy Morgan fan it was so great to see him back out in public and feeling better. Much love Tracy!"
After months of undergoing regular physiotherapy sessions to learn how to sit, stand and walk again, Morgan previously stated his next goal is to escort his fiancee Megan Wollover down the aisle without a walking cane when they exchange vows in August (15).
