Gisele Bundchen's sportsman husband Tom Brady has shut down rumours suggesting the superstar couple is heading for a divorce, insisting they are in "a great place".
Recent reports suggested the Brazilian supermodel was on the brink of pulling the plug on the pair's six-year marriage after allegedly tiring of the football star's temper following his reported involvement in the 'Deflategate' scandal.
The couple appeared to put on a united front amid the split rumours last week (begs31Aug15), when Bundchen accompanied her husband to a New York federal court, where he successfully had his four-game suspension from America's National Football League overturned on Thursday (03Sep15).
Now the New England Patriots quarterback has addressed speculation about his relationship with the supermodel, insisting his wife remains his biggest fan.
During an interview with Boston, Massachusetts radio station WEEI on Tuesday (08Sep15), he said, "We're in a great place... There's no bigger supporter I have than her."
Brady also opened up about the 'Deflategate' controversy, which led to his four-game ban from the NFL, after independent investigator Ted Wells determined the sportsman must have known game balls were under-inflated during his team's 45-7 win against the Indianapolis Colts in last season's American Football Conference title game in January (15). The Patriots, with Brady as their star quarterback, went on to win the Super Bowl in February (15).
Crediting his family with pulling him through the drama, he explained, "There were a lot of different emotions that I went through... I faced obviously different adversities in my life, different challenges and you just kind of rely on those experiences and you rely on a lot of people that are around you for the support. This has been a different type of challenge in my life. I think it's been a different type of obstacle to overcome."
Meanwhile, Bundchen has taken to her social media pages to dispel reports of marriage trouble.
On Saturday (05Sep15), the catwalk stunner took to Instagram to share a photo of Brady playing soccer with their daughter Vivian and captioned it, "And my heart melts #biggestlove #family (sic)".
The couple wed in 2009 and also has a five-year-old son, called Benjamin.
