Comedienne Tina Fey is on the hunt for her stolen jokes after a thief nabbed a computer from her new Manhattan, New York office.
The 30 Rock star suspects a shady removal man grabbed items as she signed for a furniture shipment, and now she's determined to play detective and get back the gags she had stored on the hard drive.
In a recent interview with TV talk show host David Letterman, Fey said, "We have this small office... and some guys moved some stuff into the office... and then we ordered some more stuff and they came back and... they were like, 'You've gotta come down to sign the thing...' so people went down from the office to sign the delivery... and then I think one of the moving guys went upstairs and stole a computer from our office, and that had all of my ideas on it."
The actress and writer fears police won't be able to recover the stolen goods and so she is making it her mission to find her missing computer after catching the culprit red-handed on surveillance video footage.
She adds, "The police were helpful, but it's hard, New York's a big city and you're like, 'Some guy stole my jokes'. And they're like, 'We'll get right on it'.
"But we're gonna find this guy. This is an alleged criminal. He walks out with what pretty much looks like a computer in a folder."
