The Wanted star Jay Mcguiness showed his support to embattled actress Lindsay Lohan on Thursday night (29Nov12) by performing at New York's Madison Square Garden wearing a T-shirt emblazoned with the message "Free Lindsay".
The Mean Girls star had reportedly been hanging out with Max George and other members of the boyband at Manhattan hotspot Club Avenue after their support slot with Justin Bieber on Wednesday (28Nov12), but the party descended into chaos when Lohan allegedly punched a fellow female at the bar.
She was arrested and charged with third degree misdemeanour assault, and subsequently released.
McGuiness showed his support later on Thursday by wearing the white top with the handwritten message at their second Madison Square gig.
And it appears The Wanted singers are letting McGuiness' clothing do the talking as they have yet to comment on the club incident themselves.
Lohan is due to answer the charge in court in January (13), although her lawyer is confident security footage from the venue will clear his client's name.
