Kelly Osbourne's former boyfriend Bert Mccracken and his band The Used have been banned from performing in Canada for a decade due to the frontman's criminal record.
The group has been forced to scrap a Canadian tour after McCracken was denied entry into the country earlier this month (Jun12).
He tells Rolling Stone magazine, "They won't let me in. They said not for 10 years. It's weird, they're like, 'You need to rehabilitate these crimes before you come back to Canada.' I'm like, 'What does that mean?'"
The rocker insists Canadian authorities have blown his past indiscretions out of proportion, adding, "When I say criminal record, I'm talking teensy, eensy misdemeanors they still have on my record from, like, 2001 and 2003 - trespassing."
The defiant star is hoping to make up for the dropped dates by staging a series of "border shows" in Michigan, New York, Washington and Montana, so Canadian fans can drive over the U.S. border for the concerts.
