The Saturdays have expressed their sadness following the split of fellow girl group Girls Aloud.
Girls Aloud parted ways on Wednesday (20Mar13) after a decade together, announcing the news upon the completion of their Ten: The Hits Tour in the U.K.
The Saturdays, who have long been tipped as Girls Aloud's chart successors, have now spoken out about the shock split, insisting they are sad to see another girl band step out of the spotlight.
Rochelle Humes says, "It's the end of an era. I went to see them on the Ten tour and I'm like, 'Why are you splitting up?' It was such a good show."
Vanessa White concludes, "It's so sad," before insisting The Saturdays have no plans to split, adding, "I feel like we've got loads left."
