The Janoskians prankster Beau Brooks stunned fans at the Teen Choice Awards on Sunday (10Aug14) after appearing to slip and hurt his neck during a stunt on the event's blue carpet.
The Australian entertainment group, which is known for pulling off pranks, was posing for photos as the boys arrived at the Los Angeles prizegiving when Brooks decided to hop on a classic surfboard-shaped award and pretend to ride a wave.
His fellow Janoskians got in on the fun by lifting the board in the air, but their festivities came crashing to a halt as Brooks fell off the surfboard and seemingly hit his head.
A security guard rushed to his aid and immediately fitted the 21-year-old joker with a neck brace as he lay still on the carpet.
It is not yet clear whether the dramatic incident was a planned stunt or if Brooks was really injured from the surfboard accident, but he was back on his feet, complete with neck brace, in time for the start of the ceremony as the group appeared onscreen to preview other performances and presenters at the Teen Choice Awards for viewers at home.
Meanwhile, a message on The Janoskians' official Twitter.com blog reads: "Beau were (we are) with you buddy! #getwellbeauteenchoiceawards2014."
