Taylor Swift has scored a fifth week at the top of the albums chart with her 1989 release.
She holds off Pentatonix's That's Christmas to Me and AC/DC's new album Rock or Bust, which debuts at three.
Swift has now chalked up a tally of 29 weeks at number one - a week shy of Mariah Carey's total and 17 less than Whitney Houston among the Billboard 200 countdown's female chart-toppers.
Sam Smith's In the Lonely Hour and Four by One Direction round out the new top five.
Swift also rules the Hot 100 singles chart with her hit Blank Space, which spends a fourth week at number one, while Hozier ends the three-month Swift/Meghan Trainor-stranglehold on the chart's top two spots by taking Take Me To Church to two.
Trainor's former number one, All About That Bass, falls to three on the new countdown, while Maroon 5's Animals and Uptown Funk! by Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars complete the top five.
