A representative for Taylor Swift has blamed the media after a man was arrested outside the singer's home, suggesting publication of the pop star's residences encourages fans to pester her.
Police officers in Los Angeles held a man outside Taylor's mansion in the city on Wednesday (03Feb16) after he was spotted hanging around at the bottom of her driveway.
He was handcuffed and placed in a squad car, and he has since been transferred to a hospital for evaluation.
Following the incident, a rep for the Shake It Off singer has suggested the suspect found out where Taylor lives via reports of her personal life, telling WENN, "This is why it's irresponsible for the media to publish the addresses or recent real estate transactions of celebrities. This, or potentially worse, is the end result."
