Actress Sofia Vergara is eager to have children with fiance Joe Manganiello sooner rather than later, because she does not want to be an old mom.
The Modern Family star became engaged to the True Blood hunk in December (14) and the couple is planning to wed later this year (15).
Vergara, who has a 22 year old son from her first marriage to childhood sweetheart Joe Gonzalez, previously revealed children were not a priority for Manganiello, but she now is opening up about their future family plans.
She tells Redbook magazine, "Joe is younger than me. He's 38. He's never had kids. How am I going to say no?
"I tell him if we're going to do this, we have to do it, like, now, because I don't want to be 50 with a baby."
Her comments come in the middle of a legal battle with her ex-fiance, Nick Loeb, over the embryos they had frozen when they were a couple.
Loeb claims his ex wants to destroy them and he is keen to bring them to term. Vergara's lawyer has disputed his claims.
