Seth Rogen had a "surreal moment" meeting Charlie Sheen immediately following the former Two And A Half Men star's HIV revelation earlier this week (20Nov15).
Sheen confirmed he is HIV-positive in a headline-grabbing interview with newsman Matt Lauer on the Today show on Tuesday (17Nov15), when Rogen was also at the New York studio to record a segment promoting his new film, The Night Before.
Rogen admits he felt awkward running in to Sheen so soon after his big reveal, but the 50 year old was nothing but gracious and relaxed about his candid TV chat, in which he admitted he has been battling the virus since 2011.
"It was a weird way to meet someone to say the least, I guess, but he was very nice actually," Rogen recalled on talk show Watch What Happens Live! on Thursday (19Nov15). "And I guess he's known his situation for a long time so for him it maybe wasn't as weird a moment.
"I said (to him), 'This is a surreal moment to be meeting you,' and he said, 'Hey, I love the interview,' and I was like, 'Great, thank you very much,' but I'm a huge fan of Charlie Sheen's, so it was a surreal moment to be meeting him."
