Hollywood actress Selma Blair has issued a warning to fans after hackers attempted to dupe her into revealing her online passwords.
The Cruel Intentions star went online on Tuesday (23Sep14) to share a screenshot of a suspicious text message she received which suggested she needed to update her Apple security settings by replying with her passcode to verify her account.
Blair re-posted the message as a warning to fans with the caption, "I think we know how this ends. No thanks."
The security scare comes amid a wave of Hollywood hackings which have led to nude pictures of stars including Jennifer Lawrence, Kirsten Dunst, Scarlett Johansson and Amber Heard leaking online.
Blair's post prompted a light-hearted response from her longtime friend and Cruel Intentions co-star Sarah Michelle Gellar, who joked, "Time to erase all those 'art' nudes you are always sending me."
