Selena Gomez has taken to social media to share a rare snap of herself and The Weeknd.
The Kill Em with Kindness singer has been in a relationship with the Canadian R&B star since January (17), with the pair making their romance official at the Met Gala in May.
While Selena remains tight-lipped about her personal life for the most part, she has indicated that her relationship with The Weeknd, real name Abel Tesfaye, is solid in a new Instagram post.
Taking to the photo-sharing platform on Tuesday (05Sep17), the 25-year-old uploaded a picture of the pair dining at a restaurant in New York. The snap shows Selena dressed in a large black T-shirt as she poses with her head in one hand, while The Weeknd, 27, sits with his arm around her as he gazes into the distance.
Selena and her beau have been spotted out in the Big Apple several times over the Labor Day weekend, and ate at celebrity hot spot Nobu together on Monday evening. The star is believed to be in town to shoot scenes for an untitled Woody Allen film.
In a recent interview with InStyle magazine, the Texas native spoke about how different her current relationship is to her previous ones.
"Before, I was so young and easily influenced, and I'd feel insecure," she shared. "You want someone to add to your life, not to complete you, if that makes sense. I'm lucky because he's more of a best friend than anything else."
Selena's post comes several days after she deactivated her Instagram account. Last month, three alleged hackers invaded the site and uploaded several paparazzi photos of her ex-boyfriend, Justin Bieber, along with their Instagram handles.
In the wake of the incident, representatives for the company explained that the account was swiftly shut down, and later claimed a bug within the technology had been fixed.
