Rapper Sean 'Diddy' Combs is delaying the start of his Bad Boy reunion tour.
The I'll Be Missing You star is reuniting with artists from his Bad Boy Records label, including Lil' Kim, Faith Evans, French Montana and Mase, for a U.S. tour, which was due to begin on 25 August (16) in Colombus, Ohio.
However, he announced on Friday (19Aug16) the Bad Boy Family Reunion Tour will now begin on 01 September (16) in Chicago, Illinois as he needs more time to recover from his recent shoulder surgery.
His spokeswoman tells the Associated Press the delay gives the rapper "the much needed time he needs in order to recover and give fans the incredible stage experience they have come to expect from a Puff Daddy production."
Diddy underwent surgery on his rotator cuff for the fourth time in May (16) and he documented his hospital trip on Snapchat in a series of videos taken before and after the procedure.
“I've been in a lot of pain for a while but I'm grateful that I was able to make it through the shows and get to this point," he wrote next to an Instagram compilation of the videos. "My arm will be in a sling for awhile and I may not be dancing as usual but I'm on the road to recovery!! Thank everyone for the prayers and support!”
The tour delay news comes shortly after it was reported the rapper and his girlfriend Cassie Ventura had been involved in a heated dispute after Cassie allegedly told him she wanted to split, according to TMZ.com.
Her mum called the police after Diddy allegedly stole the singer's phone and jumped out of their car in Beverly Hills on Wednesday (17Aug16) and the cops wrote up a domestic incident report.
