Clint Eastwood's actor son Scott narrowly escaped serious injury after ignoring studio bosses' advice and jumping on a bull to experience the thrill of a wild ride.
The movie hunk was forbidden from mounting the beasts while filming The Longest Ride, in which he plays a rider, so he sneaked off after the project wrapped and hopped on a bucking bull, so he could talk about the sport in interviews.
He recently told WENN, "I was a big fan of the sport prior to the film... They never let me on a bull but I went behind (studio) Fox's back and they weren't too happy about it! I went and bucked a bull after filming. I didn't want to go around and talk that I knew what bull riding was about without really bucking a bull. I lasted about two and a half seconds!"
He debuted the brief film footage of his wild ride on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Wednesday (08Apr15), and it was clear why Fox officials were worried about allowing their leading man on the back of a bull.
In the clip, Eastwood is shown wearing protective gear and a helmet as the wild bull is let loose, but he is soon thrown off the mad beast and manages to roll away just before the animal's back feet stomp on the ground, where the 29 year old had fallen.
