Scarlett Johansson is not a fan of social media, insisting she has no time for it.
The Captain America: The Winter Soldier star understands social media sites like Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram are useful tools for bosses at companies, organizers of charities and social causes to spread their message, but she has no place for it in her personal life.
"I just never got on that bandwagon," she tells Playboy magazine. "I don't even call people back. I don't even check my voice mail. It's not in my nature... I don't know. I haven't missed it in my life at all."
"I don't have space for it in my life," she adds. "If I had any kind of social media account, I would have to rely on somebody else to run it, and that seems like a ridiculous extra thing I don't need or want. I already read too much news on my phone. A couple of days ago my phone died, and I didn't have a phone for 20 hours, and it was wonderful. I was so thrilled. It may have been the first time in my life I wasn't panicked to not have my phone. I was just like, 'This is great!' I had my kid with me. I was like, 'I don't need anything. I got my kid, I'm good'."
