Scarlett Johansson has given her singer pal Jessie Baylin a big boost by stepping behind the camera to direct her new music video.
The Lost In Translation beauty took charge of the promo for Hurry Hurry, which features Baylin strolling along a bridge, and the rising Nashville, Tennessee artist is full of praise for her childhood friend's directing talents.
Baylin says, "She is an incredible director and is going to do wonderful things from behind the lens. We've known each other since we were girls, so she knows who I am and allowed me to just be myself."
But Johansson isn't Baylin's only celebrity link - she's married to Kings of Leon drummer Nathan Followill.
Celebrating the release of the single on Tuesday (17Jan12), Followill tweeted, "Good morning. I'm so proud 2 (sic) say that the new @JessieBaylin record is out. Buy it on itunes, do it. Doctors (sic) orders. Congrats baby doll."
Johansson has previously directed the short film These Vagabond Shoes and she is due to make her feature film debut as a moviemaker with the upcoming big screen adaptation of Truman Capote's Summer Crossing.
