Scarlett Johansson is set to try her hand at directing a concert by taking charge of pop star Ellie Goulding's upcoming AMEX Unstaged gig.
The Avengers star, who is planning to make her feature film directing debut with Truman Capote adaptation Summer Crossing, will step behind the camera for Ellie's 11 November (15) show, which will take place in New York City, according to Billboard.com.
The actress is the latest celebrity to take part in the American Express live series, which pairs musicians with directors. Spike Lee shot Pharrell Williams on stage last year (14), while David Lynch filmed Duran Duran in concert in 2011. Previous pairings have also included filmmaker Anton Corbijn and Coldplay, actor Steve Buscemi and Vampire Weekend, and comedian Fred Armisen and Kings of Leon.
