Sam Smith had twice the reason to celebrate on Tuesday (08Sep15), picking up Best Solo Artist honours at the GQ Men Of The Year Awards just hours after it was confirmed he'll be performing the new James Bond theme song, Writing's On The Wall.
Smith joined the likes of Lionel Richie, Keith Richards, actress Emilia Clarke and Blur, who also picked up top prizes at the ceremony in London.
The GQ Awards was a big night for 007 fans - as well as Smith picking up a top award, Duran Duran, who recorded 1985 Bond theme A View to a Kill, presented disco music legend Giorgio Moroder with the night's Inspiration Award.
And there were also accolades for Christoph Waltz, comic James Corden and model David Gandy, who picked up the Most Stylish Man title.
The ceremony was hosted by Samuel L. Jackson.
