Latin superstar Romeo Santos has been slapped with legal action over allegations he stole another musician's song and released it as his own.
Nazim Guity has filed a lawsuit alleging he wrote the bachata star's hit Eres Mia back in 2011.
According to TMZ, Guity maintains he recorded the track with the help of a music producer and copyrighted the song in 2014, but Santos, who had reportedly been working in the same studio, lifted the track for himself.
Santos went on to release Eres Mia later in 2014, which became a huge success.
Guity is suing Santos, as well as officials at his record label Sony and the recording studio.
Santos has yet to comment on the suit.
