The children of late Bee Gees star Robin Gibb are set to undergo medical tests to make sure they don't suffer the same fate as their father.
Gibb died of liver and colon cancer earlier this year (12) after the disease was spotted during an operation to remove an intestinal blockage.
The star's twin brother Maurice died in 2003 while waiting to undergo surgery for a twisted intestine, and Gibb's widow, Dwina, is concerned the health issues might be passed through the family, so she is making sure the children undergo thorough medical testing.
She tells British newspaper the Sunday Mirror, "We think there was a hereditary thing because of Maurice and we actually traced it back to their great grandmother. When we did the program Who Do You Think You Are? we found out a lot of stuff - health issues - and discovered that there was a link with problems with the digestive system. So now all of the children are going for early tests."
